Our fitness clinics are free to members, to attend a clinic please register at the front desk.
Life Fitness – Wednesday, June 13, 6am, 9:30am & 6:30pm
This clinic will review basic set up and function of the Life Fitness Equipment to help you get the most from these state of the art machines. You will learn how to position yourself and how to safely use the Life Fitness equipment.
ABsolute Truth – Thursday, June 21, 6am, 9:30am & 6:30pm
Want to know the Absolute truth behind a flat stomach and seriously tough abs? Don’t just do crunches. Why? Because crunches only burn about 3-5 calories per minute! Join us and we will show you a core-busting, calorie-burning workout to train your way to a slimmer waistline!
Foam Rolling – Wednesday, July 11, 6am, 9:30am & 6:30pm
Foam rolling uses deep compression, just like a massage, to help roll out muscle spasms. The compression over-stimulates the nerves, signaling the muscle spasm to shut off. Allowing the muscle to relax and loosen up. Foam rolling also increases blood flow to the tissue, which can aid in muscle recovery. Join us to learn how to properly use the foam roller and how to incorporate its use into your workouts.
Back to Basics – Thursday, July 19, 6am, 9:30am & 6:30pm
Are you a new member or do you need some refreshing on incorporating strength training into your workout? Come learn the important concepts of strength training and form as well as what exercises would work best for you!
Free Motion Clinic – Wednesday, August 8, 6am, 9:30am & 6:30pm
Using cable machines to weight train gives you the benefits of free weights and machine weights; you get the support of a machine but challenge your muscles like with a free weight. Learn how to use the Free Motion machines properly to make your strength training workouts more effective.
Stability Ball Core Training – Thursday, August 16, 6am, 9:30am & 6:30pm
Come learn how to incorporate the stability ball into your workout routine to maximize your core training program!
